From about November 18 through November 25 if you were visiting Carolina Pulse you likely ran into an error screen. This is because during that time the site was completely offline due to some extremely poor management by our hosting company easycgi. I won’t bore anyone with the details but essentially easycgi was migrating all the sites they host to a new server system and during this process forgot to migrate Carolina Pulse's database. The following week was spent trying to convince them that it was important that the site be back up and that they use a backup more current than a month old to restore it. It was an arduous and unnecessarily complicated process that has more or less left me with zero confidence in easycgi. In any case the site is up and running now and I am looking for a new hosting company. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know in the comments below.
